I do? for my lord taketh away from me the
stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed.

because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their
generation wiser than the children of light.
【NIV】The master commended the dishonest manager
because he had acted shrewdly. For the people of this world are more shrewd
in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light.
【BBE】And his lord was pleased with the false servant,
because he had been wise; for the sons of this world are wiser in relation to
their generation than the sons of light.
