1【和合本】正当那时，有人将彼拉多使加利利人的血搀杂在他们祭物中的事告诉耶稣。

had a fig-tree in his garden, and he came to get fruit from it, and there was

Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find
none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?

vineyard, `For three years now I've been coming to look for fruit on this fig
tree and haven't found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?'
【BBE】And he said to the gardener, See, for three years
I have been looking for fruit from this tree, and I have not had any: let it
be cut down; why is it taking up space?
【ASV】And he said unto the vinedresser, Behold, these
three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it
down; why doth it also cumber the ground?

【当代版】为了这件事，会堂里的领袖感到十分恼怒，气忿忿地对群众说：“一个礼拜有六天可以工作，要求医就该在那六天之内，绝对不可以在安息日的！”
【KJV】And the ruler of the synagogue answered with
indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto
the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore
come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.
【NIV】Indignant because Jesus had healed on the
Sabbath, the synagogue ruler said to the people, "There are six days for
work. So come and be healed on those days, not on the Sabbath."
【BBE】And the ruler of the Synagogue was angry because
Jesus had made her well on the Sabbath, and he said to the people, There are
six days in which men may do work: so come on those days to be made well, and
not on the Sabbath.
【ASV】And the ruler of the synagogue, being moved with
indignation because Jesus had healed on the sabbath, answered and said to the
multitude, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore
come and be healed, and not on the day of the sabbath.

hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass
from the stall, and lead him away to watering?

Doesn't each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or donkey from the stall and
lead it out to give it water?
【BBE】But the Lord gave him an answer and said, O you
false men! do you not, every one of you, on the Sabbath, let loose his ox and
his ass and take it to the water?
【ASV】But the Lord answered him, and said, Ye
hypocrites, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass
from the stall, and lead him away to watering?
16【和合本】况且这女人本是亚伯拉罕的后裔，被撒但捆绑了这十八年，不当在安息日解开她的绑吗？”

Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this
bond on the sabbath day?

Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be set free on
the Sabbath day from what bound her?"

who has been in the power of Satan for eighteen years, to be made free on the

adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious
things that were done by him.
